A skein refers to a flying group of wildfowl, typically geese, who fly in a "V" formation. Geese form effective teams, flying in a way that conserves energy, while aiding communication and coordination within the group. This allows them to fly long distances, while keeping track of everyone.

Humans can achieve similar efficiency and coordination. Through diversity of thought, knowledge and curiosity, great things can be achieved.

Martin Solway, Founder and Director
After twenty years involved in the Energy and Chemical Industry, working in and leading global teams, I have spent the last two years focused on developing my purpose. Taking the opportunity to step back from the constant "go" of corporate life, I completed an Executive MBA, specializing in strategic leadership at Warwick Business School in the United Kingdom. During that time and through experiencing coaching first hand, I realized my passion for helping others maximize their potential, while developing purpose and strategy in a bold, fun and creative way.

This led me to coaching, becoming a certified Executive Coach and carrying out research into Team Coaching.

I grew up in the UK but have been fortunate to have lived and worked in many countries, exploring different cultures and way of life. I have specialized in strategy, innovation, scaling businesses, and leading large operations. I have been fortunate to hold senior positions for leading organizations in their respective fields such as Schlumberger and W. L. Gore & Associates.

More recently, I have been coaching and advising executives in start-ups to corporations, as well as the charity sector. I developed businesses in the Energy and Chemical Industries from start-ups to large divisions. Having worked all over the world, I now represent or advise businesses on their global journey in this exciting industry.
